Some code which is written in short while booking the ticket or on the booked ticket. It is very important for you to know about that.

Know about Berth/Seat

LB: Written LB means lower berth.

MB: Written MB means middle berth.

UB: Written UB means upper berth.

Know About This Code

This code is written on the ticket. Or it will be written while booking the ticket.

WL (Waiting List): In this, there is a ticket on the waiting list that is more likely to be confirmed.

 

RAC (Reservation Against Cancellation): In RAC, two passengers are allowed to travel on the same berth. When passengers with confirmed tickets do not travel, they are confirmed to RAC passengers.

 

RSWL (Road Side Waiting List): The chances of getting confirmed in this are very less.

  

CAN (Cancel): This is written in the printout if the ticket is canceled.

 

RQWL (Request Waiting List): If the ticket booked from one intermediate station to another is not under General, Remote Location, or Pooled Quota, then it is called Request Waiting List.

 

TQWL (Tatkal Quota Waiting List): This is written on booking Tatkal
tickets. The chances of it getting confirmed are very less.

 

CNF (Confirm): It means your seat is confirmed. The number allotted or seat number will be allotted after chart preparation.

 

GNWL (General Waiting List): This type of ticket is more likely to get
confirmed if a confirmed ticket is canceled.

 

PQWL (Pool Quota Waiting List): Such tickets are different from the
general waiting list. It contains the details of the journey between the
origin and destination stations 
The chances of getting such tickets confirmed are less.

 

RLWL (Remote Location Waiting List): Quota waiting berths of
small/intermediate stations are called RLWL. It has the highest chance of
getting confirmed.

 

NOSB (No Seat Birth): Seats are not allotted to children below 12 years of age, which NOSB shows.

How to Book Ticket

Now on searching many TRAIN will come.

Information will be found in this whether the ticket is vacant, is on the waiting list, or is in RAC.

Click on the train you want to book it.

Now you have to fill in your details like name, base, mobile, etc.

Then click on the book and make the payment. Then have to confirm.

Now after booking the ticket, it can be printed out.

By the way, the SMS of the booked ticket will be sent to your mobile.
