Eligibility for Balika Samridhi Yojana

Balika Samriddhi Yojana is for the Girl Students of economically backward classes and below-poverty line families.

The applicant girl child must have been born in India.

No member of the family should do a government job.

No member of the family pays income tax.

Only up to two girls from any family are eligible for this scheme.

The annual income of the parents of the girl child should not be more than 2,00,000.

How to get the benefit of the scheme?

To get the benefit of this scheme, your gram panchayat
or municipalities have to apply for the scheme,

The application form may also be available through Anganwadi
workers or health workers.

You will also be able to download the plan form from the website of Child
Protection and Child Rights.

The form of the scheme is different for rural and urban applicants.

Necessary supporting documents have to be attached.

On submission of the application, an acknowledgment is received from which the application will be tracked.

The Tehsil Officer concerned has to authenticate the application with the necessary documents and forward it to the District Welfare Officer for further
approval.

After the acceptance of the application along with the documents, the benefit of the scheme will be available.
